ACCFocus was formed in 2007
by a group of injured New Zealanders and their families from across
the country who are interested in improving the Accident Compensation system in
New Zealand.
ACCFocus is a national network of injured claimants that aims
to support and enable injured claimants by
providing a forum and knowledgebase for exchanging information and sharing experiences.
We believe that injured claimants,
as individuals, should be in control of their own destinies. In a similar vein, injured claimants groups
must be democratically controlled by injured claimants.
We believe that a national organization of injured
claimants can best achieve these objectives by providing training and educational resources.
