ACC has been micro-managed by successive Governments. I hope that the Hon Judith Collins will be able to make the changes that will bring ACC to its 'grass-roots" of helping and not hindering folkwho have been injured.

The Dr Jan White CEO years of Corporation Change Destruction must be abandoned by the new ACC CEO - who appears to have very little "backbone"!

White's legacy is a dis-functional ACC filled with corporate YES men and woman who are so "black and white" in their outlook that any other other is not allowed, especially grey. The ACC staffers with think skills and client focused methodology have been replaced at all areas of management by staff who want to save money at all costs.

Client satisfaction is at an all time low. A recent ACC client survey told ACC that it had many, many problems. The Code of ACC Claimant's Rights is being undermined by a provider capture model of having the Office of Complaints Investigation a subset of ACC. People like Sandra Warwick and Nikki Anglesey do not undertake bias free investigations and find mostly in favour of ACC and not the ACC complainant. Perhaps their Key Performance Indicators (KPI) need tweaking.

The managers are now called team leaders. I am not sure what leadership criteria these so called leaders have as part of their job descriptions. I am sure that they are their to frustrate clients and tow the ACC party line of UN-helpfullness and UN-caring attitudes and behaviour - the motto is profits before clients and decline, decline, decline being the catch-phrase.

A big broom must be taken to ACC. I suggest they sweep out the Southern Area Leader - a Mr Tim Harvey and the staff member in charge of Psychiatrists a Dr Kris Fernanado and the staff member in charge of Psychologists a Ms Emma Powell. These 3 have failed in their tasks of keeping the clients safe from unethical and unprofessional doctors who are earning an amazing living off the ACC nipple of funding. Doctors like David Buckwell Stoner, John Lewis Collier, Jonathan Wright, Gerard Walker and James Heggarty are 5 that quickly spring to mind. These so called intelligent men must read their respective associations code of ethics and professional code of conduct - they have been found wanting.

The time is right for clients to rise up and occupy ACC buildings to demand that clients are treated with respect, dignity and compassion.
