It's a bad time to be an ACC claimant
Well it is.
The United States lost its top-notch AAA credit rating from Standard & Poor's on Friday in an unprecedented reversal of fortune for the world's largest economy.
The NZX50 index yesterday plunged 3 per cent to its lowest since December, after huge falls on Wall Street and in Europe, as fears mount that another global financial crisis is imminent.
New Zealand investors face a nervous weekend, after a global equities rout sliced $1.17 billion off the value of New Zealand listed companies yesterday.
As an ACC claimant it will be your fault that the ACC has another financial hemorrhage. It will be your fault that the promised cuts to ACC levies won't happen.
See if I'm wrong.

Why is it that when it comes to ACC That most PM‘s run and hide?
Mr Nick Smith (Minister for ACC) Stated in Parliament
“That there are 2000 fewer Long term people claiming income related compensation.
This is to help households save $250 a year or $ 5 a week.”
According to Mr Smith this is to help New Zealand get back on feet.
All for about the cost a person would pay for one cup of coffee.
So this is good news for people who have jobs have no impairment to live with.
What is not good news, for those people who have had accidents and find themselves on the
Wrong side of ACC‘s Rehabilitation. Because there partner works. With no support from WINZ.
That they now face a life for poverty with no jobs, no income, with no right to fight these injustices.
As Mr Smith has stated in Parliament. “If you are unhappy with a decision ACC has made about your
Claim. Every person has the right for review.”
But you must apply for a review within three months of the decision date on your claim.
Late applications for a review may be accepted where extenuating circumstances exist.
For example, if your injury prevented you from being able to meet the timeframe. As stated ACC’s web site.
So outside of this time frame and there are no extenuating circumstance.
Then you lose the right for review.
In my view the people of New Zealand and many MP’s seem to have a careless attitude for these
People.
But if we took the same 2000 people and put them on a Bus and drove that bus off a cliff.
As ACC has been allow too. Then there would be a public outcry.
So why are we allowing is happen in New Zealand And Why is it that Most MP’s accept these injustices?

A term bring used by talking heads is 'haircut'.
From what I see , when a bank stop account holders from withdrawing money, they will only allow a % withdrawal
and the bank then decides what % onwards.
This applies to all account holders .
