This year, Privacy Awareness Week is 24 - 30  August.  It is an annual promotion to raise awareness of the importance of protecting privacy. The theme for 2008 is "Privacy is your business".

During this week, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner will hold a full day forum.  This privacy issues forum entitled "Privacy is your Business" will be held at the Intercontinental in Wellington on Wednesday, 27 August, 8.30 am - 5.00 pm.
